Vincent Winery
Building Method: Steel building with insulated roof panels
Location: Santa Ynez, CA
You would have to study the Vincent Winery closely to figure out that the building is actually a structural steel and metal frame building instead of a wood-frame and stucco building. All the exterior finishes disguise the pre-engineered metal frame underneath, which contains steel studs and insulated metal roof panels.
The exterior has a smooth troweled plaster finish with a stone veneer wainscot around the entire perimeter. The wine tasting area and other public interior walls have smooth troweled sheetrock, whereas the production areas have steel clad insulated panels to maintain a clean work environment.
The Vincent Winery building is divided into four working areas consisting of:
- The Public Wine Tasting Bar
- Patio and rest rooms
- Barrel storage room
- Fermentation room and covered crush dock.
The state-of-the-art wine production can easily process the grapes produced from the 18 acres of red and white vineyards.
